So last week we went to Chuck E Cheese for my son's cousin's 3rd birthday party.  I haven't been there in a loooong time (since my 5th birthday) but I didn't remember that they had those giant, creepy mechanical animals. They're down in the "private party area" and our table was front and center. None of the kids could have fun once those things turned on. My son ate his pizza with one eye on the mechanical Chuck E, like he was going to hop off the stage, jump on our table, and start kicking us all in the face with his metal boots. Well, maybe it was just me thinking that. It was truly creepy.

Beyond that, Chuck E Cheese smells like ASS. I don't know if it's the hundreds of stinky little feet running around or the gross cheese they put on the pizza, or the fact that the ball pit is probably infested with 10 years of leaky diapers and vomit...

Note to self, never go back to Chuck E Cheese.

    Haha, I don't blame you. It's only fun when you are still a kid, it sucks to be dragged back there as an adult. Their pizza always gave me gas too. Plus it tasted bad.

    I remember getting food poisoning at Chuck E cheese a while back. It was horrid. Was bed ridden for a week or so.

    Note to self: never go to Chuck E Chesse! I hate those creepy things like creepy robots. The only things worst than that is a creepy clown. I hate clowns! (Ok, that was random.)

    The last time I went to Chuck E Cheese was for my little cousins birthday. Needless to say it was also the last time. I can't deal with so many kids in one place :P

    aah the memories... I usually stuck to the TMNT arcade game tho... but ew...

    My parents took me to one when I was around 10, the had a little extra cash from taxes. The mechanical animals were so creep, but I knew it was a special event so I played it cool and wore m poker face. But man....haven't been to one since, lol.

    I never went as a kid. Instead I went to some place that was basically a giant indoor playground with stuff to climb on and run through. I had a few fun birthday parties there. Don't remember the name though.

    It was fun as a kid, but being older the smell definitely would get to you, a million kids sweating and eating greasy food.

    I haaaate Chuck E. Cheese. I took my daughter there once and am done with it. The kids there run wild with no supervision and you're right, it does stink. And it's disgustingly dirty. Very overpriced, too.
